About The Artist

Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m a Calgary based painter and illustrator. I graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with my bachelor of design in 2020. My artistic interests vary widely in both themes and medium but one thing I am continually trying to do are tell stories through my work. I mainly work in a realistic style to bring my subjects to life and explore character and personality through the use of light, colour and shape. While I specializes in equine and animal portraits, I enjoy drawing all kinds of things and welcome the chance to take on new and exciting projects.
