About The Artist

Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m a Calgary based fine art painter. I graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts with my bachelor of design in 2020. I specialize in modern, realistic wildlife paintings and pet portraits. I love to capture the beauty and the magic of everyday wildlife encounters through my paintings. Drawing inspiration from my own personal experiences, each painting captures the intricate details of local animals and birds. I want them to feel like they could leap off the canvas. I’m passionate about showcasing and celebrating Alberta’s native wildlife and creating artwork that makes them feel alive in your space.

While I specializes in equine and animal portraits, I enjoy painting all kinds of things and welcome the chance to take on new and exciting projects.
